Before founding One Call Concepts, Inc. in 1982, Tom Hoff worked nearly 20 years at the Chesapeake and Potomac (C&P) Telephone Company of Maryland (now Verizon). At C&P, he was responsible for many aspects of outside and inside plant construction and maintenance and acquired the skills and body of knowledge required to manage a successful call center or outside plant operation. Tom was the last manager of the Miss Utility operation while it was still operated in-house by C&P. Shortly after launching One Call Concepts, Tom won major contracts, which the company still holds to this day.
Tom is a leader in the industry. He presently serves as chairman of the Maryland Underground Facilities Damage Prevention Authority. He has served on the One Call Systems International (OCSI) Executive Council and has addressed numerous national and international associations on the importance of one call, the mechanics of call center operations, and damage prevention.
Tom is a lifelong Maryland resident along with his wife Norma, children, and grandchildren.
President, Chief Financial Officer
A veteran of One Call Concepts, Inc. (“OCC”) for more than twenty five years, Dan became President in late 2013 adding to his existing responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer which he assumed in 2010. Having inherited a management team of highly competent industry professionals, Dan believes that OCC is strategically positioned to provide unmatched technology and service to the one call community.
Dan joined OCC in 1988 as Controller. He was responsible for the entire accounting function as well as budgeting, tax administration, benefits administration, property and casualty insurance and banking relations.
Prior to joining OCC, Dan worked as Controller of a small public publishing and media company. Dan began his career in public accounting.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He earned his CPA certificate in 1987.
Director of Operations
Adam began his damage prevention career with One Call Concepts Inc. on March 10, 2003. His career started with a position as an operator at the Gopher State One Call Center in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. During his time in Minnesota Adam worked his way up through the ranks holding the positions of Lead Operator, Supervisor, and Assistant Office Manager. In November of 2010 Adam relocated to Portland, Oregon and accepted a promotion to the position of Operations Manager. Just over one year later, in December of 2011, Adam began serving as the General Manager for the Utility Notification Center, and in 2014 became Director of Operations for One Call Concepts.
With his operational experience and a passion for public awareness, Adam takes an active role in underground safety. He is currently a member of the Northwest Regional CGA, Metropolitan UCC, and Clark County UCC, as well as a regular participant with other damage prevention groups in the Pacific Northwest.
Growing up in the land of ten thousand lakes, Adam became an avid fisherman. When he isn’t spending his free time on a lake, he enjoys wood working, hiking, and is a shooting sports enthusiast.
Director of Information Technology
Vincent Lacey joins One Call Concepts with twenty-five years of IT experience and proven leadership in both government and private businesses, successfully leading development teams and support groups in the creation, planning, implementation, and integration of software systems, most recently as Chief Technology Officer for EasiLoans in the development of their online mortgage application, automating their compliance, underwriting, and document generation, for a streamlined mortgage submittal process.
Prior to Easiloans, Vince helped the advanced manufacturing start-up, Xometry, enter the online marketplace. He managed all aspects of Xometry’s information technology. Xometry provides online manufacturing services using additive and subtractive methods.
Vince was also founding partner and CTO of Configuration Management Solutions, which was chosen by the highly selective Private Investors Network of the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland to present its business plan and financing needs.
Director of Market and Innovation Research
Over the past thirty years, Randy has been instrumental in the development and installation of One Call Concepts' PRISM system, a cutting-edge one call notification management package, including its related, online components (ITIC, iMap and iFedit). At One Call Concepts, Randy was also responsible for all of PRISM’s installations, upgrades and support. His vision, technical knowledge, and desire to improve One Call Concepts' processes have enabled One Call Concepts to develop core products that are unequaled in the industry.
Randy began his career with One Call Concepts as a customer service representative in Wisconsin in 1982; later he was promoted to office supervisor and in 1984 to general manager of One Call Concepts’ Wisconsin operations.
