BIO: Dora Parks

Since 1991, Dora has been an integral team player at One Call Concepts Locating Services, Inc. providing excellence in locating underground plant for Maryland, Delaware and parts of Texas. She also managed the opening of our Ontario, Canada operations in 1997.

As the office manager, she provided the structure and organization necessary for ticket receiving, retrieval and archiving and all office management functions for the normal day to day business. Other responsibilities included managing the dispatch team, office support staff and providing employee human resources support, company wide.

She is and has been a member of the Maryland/DC Damage Prevention Committee for over ten years. She supported the cause for Damage Prevention by participating in damage prevention seminars, contractor awareness meetings and trade shows.

She also managed a second level communications center for incoming overflow service and installation calls for a distribution gas company in the Washington, D.C. area.

She is currently General Manager for the One Call Concepts, Inc. Miss Utility center. A new challenge, especially, with the addition of the PRISM mapping system for the mid Atlantic service area. Her experience with contract locating will enhance her new call center opportunities and provide a different and valuable perspective on call center functions.
